Placement Exams Mathematics – The Math Placement Exam ensures that you enroll in
the math course that best matches your major and skills.
• To enroll in the appropriate math course, you must pass the Mathematics Placement Exam or meet one of the following exemptions:
– An SAT math score of at least 610
– An ACT math score of at least 26
– College credit for the appropriate prerequisite course from an accredited college or university
Chemistry • Based on your major, you may be required to take the Chemistry Placement
Exam.
