CHILDREN AND YOUTH INFORMATION KIDS! WE will resume our Sunday night programming sometime in August. Vacation Bible School begins this Sunday! Youth groups WILL NOT MEET tonight, June 12th, due to the Youth Mission trip to Atlanta. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers!

GRADUATE RECOGNITION Sunday is scheduled for June 26, 2016. We will honor all of MUMC’s graduates in both services that day, so please join us to congratulate them!

TRADITIONAL SERVICE USHERS NEEDED!

We are still in need of ushers for our Traditional service. Both men and women are welcome. If you would be available to serve in this capacity, please contact Van Brannon at [email protected].

PLASTIC BAGS PROJECT – CARSON RADLEIN

THANK YOU ALL so much for the overwhelming response to the call for plastic bags!! Collection will continue on an ongoing basis, and you can drop them in the bins in the FLC or church office during the week. We are having our first get together on Wednesday, June 22nd, to cut and roll bags. We will offer two times to meet in the Social Hall, from 9:00 a.m. until noon and 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. Please bring your scissors! If you want to start crocheting, please bring your #10 hook. We will have a few hooks available. Anyone who would like to help is welcome! You can call/text me at (864) 478-9198 for any questions.

2016 SCHOLARSHIPS

WE ARE now accepting applications for those entering college for the 2016/2017 school year. You may pick up an application from the church office or at either service on Sunday. Please ask an usher for one if you do not see it. ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE RETURNED BY SUNDAY, JUNE 19TH TO THE CHURCH OFFICE.

CHILD ENRICHMENT PROGRAM (CEP) NEWS CHILD ENRICHMENT Summer Camp registration for 2016 is currently taking place. We have fun and exciting activities planned for Pre-school (Infant – K4) and Elementary (K5 – 5th grade) camps! • Summer Camps will begin June 13th and end August 5th. • Pre-school days/hours will be: M-TH, 9:00am – 3:00 pm. • Elementary days/hours will be: M-F, 8:00am – 5:30 pm. • We will close July 4th – 8th. We will continue our Registration for the 2016-17 School Year for Pre-school and After-school until available spaces are filled.
