Holidays• Our school year is incredibly busy and your

child will miss a huge amount if taken out of school during term time. One week of holiday every year of primary school adds up to over half of a term of missed learning!

• We therefore ask that you avoid taking your child out of school for holidays during term time. We are unable to provide work for holiday absence but in return neither will we set homework over the school holidays.

• However if you wish, your child could write a diary of their time away which they can share at school, but we will be unable to mark it.

• Please be aware that government rules have changed regarding holidays in term time and you may be liable for a fine.
