  • Each of the counselors . . . Has a caseload of approximately 185 students, divided evenly

    among the grade levels.

    Is the counselor for your child throughout high school; will have

    your child if that counselor has/had your childs older sibling. We

    always try to maintain sibling matches with counselors.

    Works closely with other PPS staff (social workers, psychologists)

    to ensure that your child is successful in high school socially and

    emotionally as well as academically.

    Works closely with the house administrator with whom he/she

    shares your child.

    Advanced Regents Diploma

    In addition to what is required for a

    Regents Diploma, you must earn 2

    more credits in World Language,

    for a total of 3 World Language

    credits.

    These are the minimum requirements for graduation.

    Plan on doing a lot more to be competitive for college admission

    or the world of work.

    assessments in order to graduate.

    You must pass Regents examinations in:

    To earn an Advanced Regents Diploma you must pass additional exams in Math and also the LOTE B Assessment.
