Welcome to the GPA
Come join the friendly and dynamic team that is the Glen Huntly Parent's Association (GPA) - we are parents and friends of the Glen Huntly Primary School (GHPS) community.
Our goals are to fundraise for our school to improve the facilities and experiences for our children; organise fun, social events that bring our wonderful school community together; and to build strong links between our school and the wider community.
New members are always welcome!
The GPA usually meet on the 2nd Friday of every month (2.15-3.15pm) but if falls in school holidays the meeting with be moved to the 3rd Friday of the month. Even if you are not able to attend meetings we welcome everyone to join our mailing list and volunteer to help with any of the events/drives we co-ordinate.
NOTE: First Meeting Friday 23rd February at 2.15pm (Art Room, West Site)

Friday Snacks (from Friday 16th
February)
The GPA sell icy-poles every Friday lunchtime starting 16th February out of the kitchen attached to Wendy Wilson Hall on the Senior Site.
We need 3 helpers every Friday lunchtime from 1.15pm for about an hour to sell icy-poles, starting on 16 February 2018 (and 12.15-1.1.5 on the last day of term). To volunteer, please sign up http://signup.com/go/yXrBiwN
Students can pre-order icy-poles or purchase them on the day for $1 each.

Cake Raffle – Fridays – Tickets $1
The GPA co-ordinate a weekly cake raffle every Friday—starting this Friday 9th February! One family signs up each week to showcase their baking skills with something sweet – such as a cake, a batch of cupcakes, biscuits or slice, etc. Students can buy tickets for $1 each to be in with a chance to win the coveted prize. And if it is your week to bake, your child or children get their chance to take to the stage at assembly to show off what’s on offer and invite students to buy a ticket.

Prep Family Morning Tea
The GPA thanks Ally Stuart, Ange Natalier, Caitilin Hawkins, Cassandra David, Christine Short, Fiona Davey, Hayley Kringas, Heidi Powell, Helen Matthews, Juliana Pecer, Kathryn Dench, Maria Simmons, Nicole Verginis & Yvonne Balfour , who helped out or catered for the Prep Parents Welcome Morning Tea. Apologies to anyone we may have inadvertently overlooked.

GPA will be selling icy-poles every Friday lunch in Term 1
between Friday 16th February until Friday 23rd March (East and West Sites).
$5.00 for the term or $1.00 per week
