Qualifying for Free Braces

If you have Medi-cal insurance and are under the age of 21 you may

qualify to have braces for free. Go to our website and click the Sign Up link to access our online form. Then fill out the form to submit your information to our website to access a list of local Free Braces doctors. The form has a section for you to ask our website consultant doctor questions you may have about your teeth or anything else about the program, however the Free Braces doctor that examines you will determine if you meet the program criteria to obtain free braces.Call your local Free Braces doctor to schedule your FREE examination appointment to determine if you qualify for the program.

WHAT ARE THE THREE MOST COMMON REASON PATIENTS DO MEET THE CRITERIA FOR THE PROGRAM TO COVER THE COST OF YOUR TREATMENT?

1. Patient still have baby teeth

Yes, It is important that when you go for your initial examination with your Free Braces doctor to be as

thorough as possible in completing your health history and include any current problems you are having that

involve your damage to teeth, chewing, or mouth joint pain, etc. This will allow the doctor to have all the

information he needs to determine if your case meets the criteria for the program.

For patients that do not qualify for the program many offices offer

discount programs for braces for those patients that choose

that option. When you come in for your consultation, tell the

orthodontist what corrections are most important to you which will

help the doctor reduce your treatment cost if that is your desire.

What are some conditions that are commonly covered by most state's Free Braces Programs?

• Cleft Palate Deformity

• Very Large Overjet (Bucked Teeth)

• Traumatic Accident that has fractured jaw bones

• Impacted teeth that require surgery (not including wisdom teeth)

• Severely crowded teeth combined with very deep bite

• Major TMJ disorder due to arthritis of the joint possibly requiring surgery

• Poorly aligned jaw bones requiring surgery to correct the bite

Just because you do not get approved does not mean you do not need braces for chewing with crooked teeth can lead to future tooth damage that could cost thousands to repair.
