Edmodo ● “Edmodo is an easy way to get students
connected so they can safely collaborate, get and stay organized, and access assignments.”
● Students, parents, and teachers can access Edmodo via the web or through an application.
Blogging ● Scholars will express their ideas via a website called Kidblog.org. They
will collaborate with their classmates on various topics in ELA and Social Studies.
● Blogging will allow scholars to grasp the importance of writing to an audience, editing, and collaboration.
Glogster ● “Glogster is a Web 2.0
tool that allows users to create virtual posters combining text, audio, video, images, and hyperlinks and to share them with others electronically.”
Quizlet ● Quizlet is a
flashcard and study tool.
● Scholars will use this site or app to master new vocabulary.
Google Drive
This tool allows you to work on documents with other individuals anywhere you are in the world in real time.
You can access Google Drive on your laptop, smartphone, Ipad or tablet. It’s user friendly and to create tonight’s presentation Ms. Bailey and I used Google Drive.
Podcasting ● Podcasting is an audio tool that helps
develops scholars’ oral literacy. ● Podcasting allows scholars to express
their knowledge through a different medium.
Goals of Podcasting: 1. Improving scholars’ fluency. 2. Improving scholars’ writing skills. 3. Improving collaboration between
scholars. 4. Improving scholars’ presentation skills.
QR Codes QR code is a sophisticated code that can be scanned using a smartphone, tablet, or webcam.
