2. No telephonic bookings will be taken and accommodation will only be confirmed upon receipt of the reservation form. Payment is due once confirmation of reservation has been issued. Confirmation number is to be used as reference upon payment.

4. The organisers and the hotel are not responsible for allocating competitors to rooms. This is the responsibility of the individuals involved.

5. There are gambling facilities at the Sun City Hotel and in the Entertainment Centre. Gambling for persons 18 years and over. Sun City supports the National Responsible Gambling Programme.

DAY VISITORS - COMPETITORS NOT ON HOTEL PACKAGES “BB”:

! Competitors and spectators not staying at the Sun City complex on one of the prescribed packages will be able to purchase entrance tickets to the Superbowl from the Computicket outlet which is situated at the entrance to the Entertainment Centre

! PLEASE NOTE: “Day” visitors will also have to pay the normal gate entry fee R50.00 per person at the Sun City main gate in order to get into the complex.

! Day visitors will register as “BB” packages. This must be indicated on the Studio Checklist Form.

Productions: Any ageMUSIC POLICY:

The Organiser’s music will be used for most sections. Although certain sections do, however, call for the competitor’s / groups own choice of music. In these instances the “own choice” CD must be handed in at the prescribed registration table at the time specified by the event co-ordinator. (An update letter in this regard will be distributed closer to the time). All Cd’s must be clearly marked with the dancers name, dance title, category, age group and studio. ONLY ONE RECORDING PER CD AND THE CD MUST BE IN A PROTECTIVE COVER.

The event co-ordinator and the sound engineer will not be responsible for the quality of recordings or for recordings that cannot be read by the CD players at the competition. MAKE SURE YOU CARRY BACK-UPS.

EVENT SCHEDULE:

The competition schedule is very carefully drawn-up to fit in with the time available in the Superbowl. Once the schedule has been drafted NO STUDIO, TEACHER OR PARENT MAY REQUEST A CHANGE TO THE SCHEDULE - NON NEGOTIABLE!

ADJUDICATING PANEL:

A rotating panel of qualified licensed judges & IDO Judges will officiate this event. Members of the panel will be announced closer to the event.

OFFICIAL COMPETITION VENUE:

Sun City Superbowl, Sun City Entertainment Centre

SPLIT DANCE FLOOR:

The dance floor will be divided in two for certain sections where appropriate for that section / heat. 20m wide x 26.2m long.

VIDEO & FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY:

No video recording or flash photography will be permitted during the competition. There will be an official / professional photographer on duty. PLEASE NOTE THAT ABUSE OF THIS RULE WILL LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION.
