Quarterly Non-Fiction Reading Requirements
Each 9 weeks students will be required to earn 5 accelerated reading points from non-fiction titles. These five points will count toward your required AR points in English class as well. Mrs. Lindley
has a list of titles in the library that will meet the requirements.
Current Events
Each month students will be required to present a current event article about
a topic in social studies along with a brief summary of the article. Articles may come from either newspapers, magazines, journals, or creditable
internet sources. If you have another source that you would like to use
please check with me first
Other Important Information-Late work will count as Half Credit
-Passes are located by the door, but please ask for permission before you leave the room
-all make up work will be placed in the back of the room in the appropriate tray.

-students will be 3 free passes per nine weeks to use for whatever reason they need (bathroom, phone calls...)
