CATECHESIS OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS), Level 1, will be starting September 27th/28th on Mondays or Tuesdays from 2:40-5 PM for children 3-6 years of age. It is a Montessori-based Catholic faith in scripture and liturgy where children grow in their relationship with God. Classes will be held in the atrium located next to the adoration chapel in St. John the Baptist Church, Marshfield. To register your child or for more information, please call Jean at 715-387-0571. Donations are appreciated! Needed items are YES paste, tracing paper, large crayons, flowers and plants. Please keep CGS children, catechists and helpers in your prayers.

Come join us at the home of the world famous Grotto Shrine and Wonder Cave this weekend, Sunday, August 1, 2021! Mass at 11 AM in church. All other activities will be held on the grounds which include polka music by Old Time Brass followed by Chad Przybylski and the Polka Rhythms, dancing, food, refreshments, games and raffles from 11 AM to 6:00 PM. Grounds close at 6:30 PM.

Saturday, August 14, 4 PM-11:30 PM. Mass in church at 4:30 PM. Sunday, August 15, 10 AM-5 PM. Mass in church at 10 AM. Duties include: cleaning bathrooms, mopping and vacuuming floors, cleaning surfaces with disinfectant, and emptying trash cans and recycling bins. Hours: 3 hours after school. CONSIDER BECOMING A CATECHIST FOR CCD!

This fall, many children and young people in 1st through 10th grade will sign up to learn more about Jesus and the Catholic faith. You can help them learn and grow in faith by becoming a catechist for Faith Formation. As you nurture the faith of our young, you will learn and grow as well! We provide you with training, materials, and support. This 2021 Fall semester we are especially in need of 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 10th grade catechists.
