When you think of industrial, how often does fashion come to your mind? With several units in our premier locations, the well-known fashion retailer H&M are distributing their range to all of their UK stores from our properties. Do you maybe fancy exotic cars? We’ve got some of those too, with the likes of Pagani and Ferrari in our portfolio. Our coverage wouldn’t be complete without the food and beverage industry. Our buildings enable customers like Wasabi (the sushi chain) as well as Ocado with their online food delivery platform, to deliver the household brands that we all know and love.

We, as consumers, are changing the way we shop, with a larger proportion of our purchases done online. The growth of internet retailing has generated a spike of activity in the industrial and logistics sector. Ecommerce is changing the way businesses operate in terms of supply chain. In this dynamic sector, a strong demand has come from parcel delivery companies and retailers looking for strategic locations from which to service their customers.

As owners of all our properties, we create the space that enables our customers to grow their business. With three 9-month placements (which could also include a chance to work in Europe), you will have your own portfolio of properties to manage and you will be given a specific role to do in each of your three rotations around the business.

To support you with your property decisions, you will be working with some of the top agents in the country alongside some of the sharpest legal minds. With access to their considerable expertise and with help from your internal team, you will be accountable for your own portfolio.

The rotations really help with your APC, so that you will be gaining first-hand experience of Property Management, Development and Investment – not just talking about it. This is supported by your personal APC Coordinator and Supervisor, as well as our comprehensive personal development training to grow your skills and capabilities to the full.

Two placements will be based in our Business Units and will cover roles such as Asset Management, Leasing or Development Surveying.

The third rotation will place you with our dedicated Investment team where you’ll be able to gain exposure to our investment strategy and get involved in valuations, buying, selling and swapping assets.

Flexible location

All of our offices are light, airy and open plan, equipped with state-of-the-art technology. We encourage everyone to work from the office that suits them best on a given work day. Most of our graduates spend at least two days each week working in our Regent Street office within a stone’s throw of Piccadilly Circus to enjoy the buzz of London, network with agents or spend time with friends after work.

one of the main things which has struck me about SEGro is the accessibility of the senior executives, who are always willing to stop for a chat.

Our Thames Valley office is situated in the Slough Trading Estate, just 20 minutes away from London Paddington, with a superb café, small gym and pool table to help you energise during the day, we also have an active group of employees who love to exercise and socialise after work or raise money for lots of charities as a team – sky diving being one example!

As a fast growing global business, our properties are located on the edge of major towns and city centres and around key transportation hubs in eight European countries – the UK, Germany, France, Poland, Italy, Czech Republic, Netherlands and Spain, with offices in Paris, Düsseldorf and Warsaw to name just a few.

two of our recent graduates have been given the opportunity to extend their skills and experience business in a new culture through secondments to paris and Düsseldorf.

As part of our Graduate Programme, you could also get the chance to work in one of our European offices. Language skills would help in this transition but are not essential and training can be provided.
