• The pyramids are the only example of the Ancient Seven Wonders of the World still standing.

• They are on the west banks of the River Nile.

• The pyramids are the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the World.

• The Egyptians built the pyramids between 2700BC and 1000BC.

• There are over 90 pyramids in Egypt.

• The first pyramid built was the Step Pyramid at Saqqara. It was built for the
