What is Europe?

• Europe isn’t a country it is a continent! This means that Europe is made up of different

countries, 44 in total!• Some countries in Europe are part of the EU

(European Union) but not all. The EU was formed to unite the countries in Europe,

economically and politically to secure lasting peace. The UK is no longer part of the EU but we are

still part of Europe!

Your task!

You need to use the maps that have been provided or an atlas if you have one to locate the countries of Europe

and their capital cities.
