Quizzes on APEX

• Each unit will have a number of quizzes to assess your learning.

• Each quiz is computer scored, and the student must receive a 70% or greater to pass onto the next lesson. The computer gives the student 3 attempts to receive the 70%.

• If the 70% is not obtained, the quiz has to be manually reset by the instructor.

Late Assignments

Proctored Exams

• There are two proctored exams throughout the course. These are Units 4 & 9. Proctored means that someone needs to “watch” you take the exam with no aid from the computer system, books, or notes.

• The media specialists (librarians) in your school will be the proctors for your exams.

Page 14: Welcome to Online Health

Procedure for Proctored Exams• 1. Complete all units leading up to the midterm or

final exam• 2. Set up an appointment (w/media specialist) to

take the exam. The appointment must be made 48 hrs. in advance from when you want to take the exam.

• 3. Notify me through email of the exam time so I can give access to the test at that specific time.

• 4. Ask the media specialist to email me when you complete the exam. (This time stamps when the test was taken)
