Welcome to Oakville Art Society’s 54th annual Art in the Park

Founded in 1965 the Oakville art society is a not for profit independent organization run by artists for artists. The society initially created Art in the Park to promote local artist and artisans and today this one day annual event has blossomed into Oakville’s premier art event. One of the largest and longest running outdoor art shows in Ontario Art in the Park features more than 180 artists working in various mediums – painting pottery mixed media jewellery wood metal photography and more. Rain or shine this event goes ahead and attracts thousands of visitors from southern Ontario and beyond. Be delighted by a wide range of artists work enjoy the music savour the BBQ and stroll through the picturesque village of Bronte.If you are interested in original art then this event is for you. We are deeply grateful to our dedicated OAS volunteers who make this event possible through their commitments to the artists who have helped create an important and enjoyable festival to our sponsors and advertisers for their generous support and to you our visitors.This is an exciting opportunity to meet and talk with these talented artists and artisans about their work and what inspires them.In addition to the outstanding visual art we feature a pleasant and entertaining mix of live music this afternoon which is sure to put you into a relaxed and celebratory mood.
