My Favorite Things Quilt

My Kid Pix quilt represents many things I enjoy. To make this quilt I used several different drawing tools from the presentation program, Kid Pix Deluxe Studio. First I clicked on a tool called an eggbeater. When I selected this tool and clicked in the center of the screen, it created twenty five boxes. I then took the paint can and created a pattern with two colors. I then selected stamps of some of my favorite things. These stamps were edited by me and added to the quilt. By using the “Control” and “Shift” key I changed the size of the stamps before adding to my pattern.

One thing I enjoy is gymnastics, it is my life. I want to be an Olympic gymnast when I grow up. I also like soccer it is so fun. I like to kick the ball around in my yard. I love cats they are cute and friendly. I love their fluffy fur and big eyes. I also like the color red. It is really pretty like the sun. I love bunnies they are so fluffy! I like the when they twitch their nose. I like butterflies because they are peaceful. I love how their wing’s flutter in the wind. I also like basketball. My cousin and I have head to heads all the time. I always win. My favorite food is cupcakes. I love the tasty frosting. I like flowers to. I love to pick flowers when ever I see them. I love gingerbread it is really tasty. It has the sweet sent of Christmas. I enjoyed sharing my all about me quilt. What do you like?

My Favorite Sports

I love soccer and basketball. It can be really fun to just kick the ball around the yard. I just love when my friends and I shoot hoops. When I play with friends sometimes I lose and sometimes I win. But after an hour game it gets tiring. Still it is a good way to end the day.

My Favorites At and After school

I like music when I am at school. I get to work with friends and learn how to use the recorder. I also enjoy earning belts in karate. Irish step is fun after school. I try and learn new routines and moves. I hope to earn a black belt in karate.

My Favorite Friends and Family

The coolest friends I have are Ava and Emily. They are trustworthy and nice. We all help each other when one of us is down. Ava and I take turns watching Peanuts the elephant. Then there is my cousin Allie. She is fun nice and we always have a good time together.

My Age and Favorite AnimalI am nine years old and I love cats. They are

sweet cute and friendly. I have two cats Coconut and Mesha. One is really fluffy and the other is a short haired. Coconut acts like a dog. He licks and begs. The other is a big frayed cat.

My Favorite Color My favorite color is blue. It is one of colors of a

spring sky. I think it is very bright and joyful. It is a warm color and makes me feel at peace to. It is also the color of my eyes, and it is in my bedspread as well.

My Favorite Movie

I love the Lego Movie. It was so funny. I liked the characters Wildstyle and Uniakitty. Trust me you could laugh for the whole day. At the end Uniakitty went crazy. At the beginning it looked like Wildstyle was flipping her hair crazy.
