Welcome to Mannsdale Upper Elementary’s No-Sell Fundraiser! Fall 2016 Dear Parents: This year the MUES PTO has elected to do a no-sell fundraiser. That’s right—no door-to-door selling cookies, wrapping paper, or the like as long as we reach our goal within our set time frame. If we don’t reach that goal, we will need to have another fundraiser this fall and one in the spring as well. The best part of this type of fundraiser is that MUES gets to keep 100% of the money to be used to enhance the education of our students at Mannsdale Upper Elementary. All you would need to do is send in this form along with your check or cash with your student by October 21st. You may ask friends and family to donate as well. We would like to meet a goal of $50,000. As with any new HOME, there are still a lot of things we need to purchase for the wonderful facilities that we have. Most of this money will go toward additions and upgrades to our playground. The piece of equipment that you see in the background of this letter is the major addition that we would like to make. This piece, along with some additional concrete play space, will cost us approximately $40,000. The students will be voting soon as to what they would like their reward to be should we meet or exceed our goal. The PTO has several options for donations. We have calculated that, based on our current enrollment, if every child sent in a total of $85 in donations, we will reach our goal! Your continued support of our school is greatly appreciated and every donation is welcome. Please send in your donations along with this form by October 21, 2016.
