Algebra 1 HN - Enrollment Requirements
● Advanced math curriculum during 6th grade● 91st percentile on Iowa math assessment● 500 or higher (pass advanced) on Math 7 SOL Letters about Algebra placement are sent in July. The class is a high school credit.
Next Steps:
● Hughes counselors will visit elementary schools in February for academic advising and online course request selection
● Students request courses through SIS StudentVUE and can make changes to course requests through March 1st - Parents can view course requests through SIS ParentVUE
● Late spring - Course Request Verification is mailed home. Changes may be made through Hughes counselors.
