First day compliance policy
Physicals and Immunizations: Students must have a completed Illinois dept. of Public Health form submitted to the school within the first 30 days of the school year to be allowed to attend classes. (the IHSA physical exam form may NOT be used for an entrance physical exam)
Sports physicals: Freshman students who are competing in athletics may use their 9th grade Ill Dept. of Public Health physical forms for sports.

◦ Be at your bus stop 10-15 min. early on 1st day.◦ Plan to arrive between 7:00 and 7:15.◦ Remain in the terrazzo and/or cafeteria area until 7:15.◦ Breakfast is served in the cafeteria.
Attendance (KD)◦ Be here day one.
◦ Students not in attendance will be inactivated.◦ Be sure any absences you have all year are excused by your
parent through a note, email, or phone call within two school days.

Hallway Procedures (KD)◦ Stay to the right and be polite.◦ Travel from point A to point B so you arrive on time.
Cafeteria/Terrazzo Procedures – Lunch (JS)◦ Five lines (Pizza, Nachos, Chicken, Sandwich, and A-la-Carte). ◦ Salads and other items (wraps) are available on the pizza,
nacho, and chicken lines.◦ You need to enter your lunch number (ID) to check out.◦ Be sure to clean up your table areas for the next group.◦ Helpful tip: Bring your lunch the first couple of days if you are
worried about too many choices.

Cell Phones (RM) ◦ Off and out of sight from 7:30 – 2:30 p.m. in all areas.
Dress Code (RM)◦ Clothing
◦ No undergarments can be visible (girls and boys).◦ No garments under your outer garments may be visible (i.e. basketball shorts,
athletic shorts, etc.).◦ Slogans and pictures must be G rated.
◦ Backpacks, book bags, etc. are not allowed during the school day. Store them in your locked locker.
NOTE: Do not share your locker or combination with anyone. You are responsible for the contents of your locker.
