Committee Roles

Michelle Rowell Committee Chair - Oversees committee and chairs

meetings,- Welcome at AGM and report on the

groups events. - Staff recruitment , retention and

employment issues. - Support and authorise work of

treasurer. - Delegate and ensure jobs are shared

out. - Chair becomes a signatory for the

bank account.

Chair Supports the

committee chair with all jobs listed

on the left. - Also a signatory

for the bank

Laura Caren Secretary (temp)- Takes and types minutes of

meetings . - Books meeting room

- Reads out minutes of previous meetings.

- Writes and receives letters for the group & keeps records of all

correspondence.

Kerry LeydonTreasurerIssues cheques and maintains

groups bank account. Arranges collection of groups

feesEnsures all money from fees

and other sources are paid into nursery accountIssues receipts

Holds cheque book and ensures bills are paid.

Administers petty cash amount. Signatory on the bank account.

Committee Roles

Helen HigginsBook keeperKeeps records of income and outgoings, keeping

receipts and invoices. Prepares reports for AGM

Checks bank account prior to meetings and informs members at meeting.

Issues Bills on behalf of the group.Ensures staff wages, volunteers expenses are

covered. Ensure chair receives a copy of monthly

statements. Arranges for independant audited to be available

to members at AGM. Oversees EYE entitlements.
