WELCOME TO THE RAILWAY INN.Thatchers Cider has been family owned since 1904 when

William Thatcher first made cider at Myrtle Farm. Since

then the craft of cider making has been passed down over

four generations of our family. Our roots remain firmly in

heritage, expertise and a passion for quality, values shared by

everyone here at The Railway Inn.

We’re surrounded by beautiful orchards where we grow the

tastiest apples to craft into the finest ciders. We’ve selected

many of our favourites for you to enjoy in the bar and with

your meal. Our staff will be happy to recommend a cider to

suit your choice.

Proud to be in the heart of Somerset, we’ve teamed up with

some wonderful local and regional suppliers to provide us with

great quality produce for our food and drink menus.

Such as Kelli and Matthew Coxhead, who opened The Wine

Shop in Winscombe in 2011. Their passion for wine was

founded in the vineyards of New Zealand and now love to

share their desire and knowledge with others.

With their assistance we have handpicked some amazing wines

for you to enjoy whilst relaxing and sharing good times with

friends and family.

We hope you enjoy the drinks in this menu as much as we do.

Love cider, love wine, love tasting
