AN INVITATION TO PRAYERDid you know? Before each Funeral Mass several parishioners at St. John’s have been saying a Rosary for that deceased person. This has been a tradition for many years. YOU are invited to join in praying the Rosary, which is recited a half hour before each Funeral Mass at Delphos St. John’s Church. Please consider offering up your time in prayer for those that have gone before us. If you have any questions, please contact Mary Lou Rode at 419-604-0137.

Please haveyour receipts to the Ministry Center before June 15th. This will allow us time to sort and total the receipts before our final turn in date of June 30th.
REMINDER: The receipts are only good for the current school year. We throw away thousands of dollars of receipts every year. The receipts are sorted by dates and only the receipts dated between September 2018 and June 2019 are accepted by the Community Cash program. MIKE’S FOOD ON US
God said, “FEED MY SHEEP,” and that’s what we are doing! May 28, 2019, at Delphos Eagles from 3:00 p.m. -5:30 p.m. “Mike’s Food On Us” is a bimonthly food distribution program for our families in need here in Delphos. This program was conceived by Mike Gallmeier many years ago and was so very important to him. In his memory, shortly after his death in 2018, with the generous support and encouragement of so many, The Mike Gallmeier Foundation was established by Foundation Principals, his wife Deb and his three sons, Shane, Travis and Kyle. The Foundation is dedicated to supporting entities and programs here in Delphos that were dear to Mike’s heart. Our top priority is “Mike’s Food On Us.” The Foundation’s mission is to keep his vision alive, honor his memory and continue his legacy of offering a hand up.
In 2018, The Mike Gallmeier Foundation was blessed to be able to support not only the Mike’s “Food On Us Program,” but also The Give Back Program, Delphos Kiwanis, Beyond Expectations, The Delphos Thrift Shop and the Delphos Canal Commission.
This year, we are expanding the food distributions to include personal hygiene products such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste/brushes, feminine products, baby diapers and other toiletries as they are donated. If you or someone you know would like to donate any items or would like more information, please contact The Mike Gallmeier Foundation on Facebook or call Deb Gallmeier at 419-302-9349.
Mike’s family is so thankful for the support they have received, in turn, will continue to support our community. All donations and proceeds go back into our community in Mike’s memory.
All Foundation donations are tax deductible!
Thank You!
