Tsuno Shrine
This shrine has a history that goes back over 1100 years. There are cedar trees surrounding the shrine which gives it a peaceful atmosphere.
Akagi Residence
This merchant house was used in the Edo period by feudal lords and other high ranking individuals as a resting spot while traveling. Today it is a private residence.
Kappa Statue
A kappa is a mythical creature in Japan that is known to live in rivers and streams. This small stone monument is dedicated to the kappa of Nanuki River in Tsuno Town.
Tateno walking course
In mid-February, you can walk this 3.3km course among the plum blossoms in full bloom. There are orange trees and small gardens along the way.
Yatogi Waterfall
This waterfall is one of over thirty waterfalls located in Mt. Osuzu and named in the top 100 waterfalls of Japan.
Mt. Osuzu
This mountain has an elevation of 1405 meters and is one of Japan's top 200 mountains. There are many rare seasonal plants and f lowers that can only be found here.
