This poem was composed collaboratively.

Each child wrote a poem about what they felt the feeling of hope is like.

They then chose their best rhyming couplet to be added to our class poem.

We hope you’ll agree the effect is quite powerful!

Hope is always there when you heart disbelievesHope is the waving of the palm leaves,Hope is the certainty breaking through the worry,Hope is the thank you instead of the sorry,Hope is the sound of the clock ticking by,Hope is like a dove flying in the sky,Hope is the seed in the green grass fields,Hope is the peace that comes with the shield.Hope is the crack of light through the door,Hope is the peace at the end of the war.Hope is the paper without a crease,Hope is the cleaner amongst the grease.
