Australia’s No.1 Interiors Trade Event
INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR SERIES
WELCOMEWelcome to DECOR + DESIGN and the AUSTRALIAN INTERNATIONAL FURNITURE FAIR (AIFF) 2019
2019 marks our 16th year showcasing an outstanding range of inspiring new products from over 350+ exhibitors, with over 11,500 visitors expected.
Decor + Design is Australia’s No.1 Interiors Trade Event and is co-located with AIFF, Australia’s largest trade-only furniture event, unveiling the latest in furniture innovations and designs for the commercial, residential and retail industries.
2019 also marks the 16th year of the VIVID Design Awards, Australia’s longest running design competition which continues to shine a spotlight on some of the nation’s most dynamic, emerging and early career designers. Our curator, Daniel Dalla Riva from the Latitude Group, has raised the bar once again, with a record number of entries and 53 finalists ensuring the quality is truly remarkable.
Thank you to our Category Partners, James Richardson Furniture, Tait, Rakumba and Event Partners Nikpol, Houzz, AUTHENTIC DESIGN ALLIANCE™, (inside) Magazine, AR and Alterative Surfaces. Don’t miss the VIVID Design Awards ceremony at 3pm on Thursday 18th July.
The 2019 International Seminar Series, sponsored by Australian House & Garden, will once again bring together an all-star speaker line-up of international and local design experts. Curated by Skye Rytenskild, Decor + Design’s Content Director, the 2019 program will explore the ‘Global Village’ of design.
We’re delighted to welcome global travellers “The Novogratz” as International Keynote Speakers. The LA-based interior designers have gained a huge following for their eclectic, vibrant designs!
Our Trends Futurist Partners, Scarlet Opus, will once again lead Trend Tours through the exhibition, as well as hosting the TREND HUB. Be inspired by the TREND HUB at Stand K36, where you can experience interactive materials and explore future design trend information.
Plus, Victoria Redshaw from Scarlet Opus will once again bring her prescient eye to international trends in her 2020 Macro Design Trends Forecast.
Relax in the TRENDS CHAMPAGNE LOUNGE in the heart of Decor + Design, a wonderful place to network with industry colleagues. Thank you to Dann Event Hire, Parker Road and Darcy & Duke for providing some beautiful products for the lounge this year.
Thank you. We hope you are inspired by your visit this year!
