Welcome!

We’re delighted to welcome you to the today’s concert from Strings Incognito! We invite you to sit back, relax, and enjoy some tea and cake in an informal atmosphere – while we entertain you with a selection of well-known music. Our programme takes us on a journey through music from stage and screen – we’re sure that everyone will recognise many of the pieces we play today. We hope you’ll enjoy listening to it as much as we have enjoyed rehearsing it.

We love it when our audiences join in! Children (and adults!) are encouraged to move around, sing along, dance, and enjoy the music. Please also feel free to get drinks and cakes at any time during the concert.

Supporting Dorothy House

We are very proud today to be supporting Dorothy House. 100% of the money we raise today will go to the charity – we’ve covered all our costs ourselves to make sure that your money goes where it is needed most.

Dorothy House provides compassionate care and support for people in our community with a life-limiting illness. Dorothy House focuses on quality of life, so patients can live well and die well. They give care and support to patients and their families in Bath and North East Somerset, and parts of Wiltshire and Somerset, whenever they need it; at home, in the hospice, or at one of their outreach centres. Many of us know friends and family who have been helped by Dorothy House – please do give generously to help support the amazing work they do.
