The casserole is open to
interpretation, basically
whatever YOU consider to be
a casserole will be a great
addition to our dinner.
With so many new faces in
our community I thought we
could have another Lunch &
to bring their amazing
sandwiches, mac and cheese
and desserts. I *heard* that
next month they will also offer
tuna melt sandwiches!
But Summer is NOT over yet!
On Saturday September 22 I
will host one more trip to the
beach. There will be limited
transportation available. This
should be a great trip after the
crowds have left and the kids
are back in school.
This month our pot luck will be
a fun twist—Favorite
Casseroles!
Learn seminar to offer to every-
one the FREE closed caption
phones, so they will be here on
the 24th.
In the beginning of the month
we will have something not re-
lated to food…..
Off Your Rocker’s—a local troop
of actors will be here on
September 4th to stage their
latest production of scenes and
skits sure to keep us laughing
through the entire show!
This looks to be another action
packed month, I hope to see
everyone there!

Welcome!
So many new faces! This month I’d like to welcome our new residents:
Glenna Z. Tom C.
Joe & Marge B. Bill & Kathy D.
Kent & Jeanne P. Paul & Judy D.
I know we all look forward to getting to know each of you!
August was a month
of new programs and
meeting new people!
September is here
and with the end of
summer approaching
and school routines
we will continue to
look ahead to new
and innovative things.
This coming month,
in addition to our
physical programs
will have the option of
engaging Liz Riley in
small group personal
training right herein
our own gym!
Sign –ups and
information will be
posted soon.
In September we will
have an archery
demonstration and
chance to try out
some shooting our-
selves.
It is a little sad to see
the What’s the
Scoop? Friday
afternoon program
go into hibernation
until next Memorial
Day, BUT in it’s place
we will have Tasty
Tapas!
Each week will be a
different small appetiz-
er to try out, and enjoy
with friends.
Speaking of food, and
who doesn’t love to
talk about that?? The
Prime Time Grilled
Cheese food truck
was such a hit that I
have asked them to
come back in
September. On
Tuesday September
18 they will park at
Maple Ridge

“Gay Molnar, Calamar Foundation President , and residents at Maple Ridge Estates present the 2017-18 donation check to the American Cancer Society. Donations were also made in August by the Foundation to the American Heart Association, and the Alzheimer’s Association. “
Thanks to everyone
that came out to
support the
Foundation’s donation
to the American
Cancer Society!
It was a great event
and the funds go a long
way to help.
Donations are still
being accepted for this
year as well.
