Athletics & ActivitiesOur Goal is to get every student involved with at least one activity or sport
The more your kids are involved the more connected to Sehome they will feel
Clearance for sports and activities is done through Final Forms. For those who participated at the middle school this will information will transfer to Sehome, but you are required to update each year
Football, Basketball, Cross Country, Track, Wrestling, Softball, Volleyball, Cheer and Dance all have summer programs. These start immediately following the conclusion of middle school sports (6/1 for girls and 6/10 for boys)

Tips for Student Success in English 101 and beyond▪ Attend class daily. If you are going to be absent, email your teacher to keep up with missed work.
▪ Put your cell phone away before you come into class.
▪ Be open, honest, and curious. Be willing to share your thoughts, feelings, and ideas.
▪ Be sure do advocate for yourself. Seek help from teacher when struggling. Inform your teacher of personal and family challenges that might impede school performance so teachers can make accommodations and work to support you.
▪ Be a learner not a grade focused student. Don't try to be perfect. 4.0 GPAs are overrated and a dime a dozen these days. Teachers give recommendations on what kind of student and person you are not whether you got an A in a class or not.

World Geography – 1 semesterUnlike AP Human Geography, World Geography focuses on physical geography –location of countries, bodies of waters, land features, etc. Additional time will be spent covering topical world issues.
Sociology – 1 semesterTheme: The scientific study of human behavior in groups. Guided notes and a few tests. Light homework about once a week and a few mini projects.
