A thrilling adventure combining hiking and kayaking to experience the best of Koh Kood. Begin the day with an easy hike to a nearby waterfall and cool off in the natural spring before exploring the vast abundance of flora and fauna, guided by our expert Tropical Ecologist.

Cinema ParadisoSteal a kiss to Casablanca…Watch classics under the stars in a return to the old traditions of Hollywood enjoyment. Cinema Paradiso marries three passions close to our heart – classical beauty and elegance, immersion in nature and relaxed indulgence…a luxury that lets its hair down and kicks off its shoes. Nibble on a playful menu of gourmet comfort foods, accompanied with your personal fancy of creative cocktails. Films screen nightly in our open-air “theatre”, a jungle-enshrouded auditorium of cascading cushions over the waters of the reservoir lagoon.

Stargazing

Here, on the remote island of Koh Kood, we felt a sense of wonder as we stared into its open sky, far from the obscuring lights of civilization. That’s why we were inspired to build a state-of-the-art observatory. With the infectious passion of our visiting astronomers, you’ll soon be identifying constellations, counting the moons of Jupiter and peering at the graceful halo of Saturn’s translucent ring.

Koh Kood Butterfly Quest

An explorative trail through the lush rainforest, guided by Soneva Kiri’s expert Tropical Ecologist. Marvel in the discovery of a secret waterfall before you unearth the 100 species of exquisite butterflies on the island.

Treepod Dining

Our unique Treepod Dining experience invites you to take fine dining to new heights. Comfortably seated in a bamboo pod, we gently hoist you high up into the tropical foliage of Koh Kood’s ancient rainforest. Gaze out across the boulder-covered shoreline dancing with gentle waves, as you savour gourmet delights and your chosen wines, delivered via the zip-line acrobatics of your personal waiter.

Wine Tasting

As the clouds reflect the fading sun’s red and orange glow, let your palate embark on a journey through five of the world’s most renowned wine regions. Start this one-of-a-kind experience with a glass of champagne accompanied by a breathtaking sunset whilst our boat takes you to Ao Salad fishing village at the North East tip of Koh Kood. We are delighted to invite you to your very own private table as the first rays of the morning sun touchdown over Soneva Kiri’s jetty. A giant moulded bamboo playground shaped like a manta ray hanging high in the treetops, our wonderful Den is dedicated to learning, to excitement, and to meaningful experiences. Professional child minders pique your children’s imaginations, teaching them to play Thai instruments, unleashing their creative talents with painting and the visual arts, and carefully watching them at play in the wonderous world of moulded bamboo spaces.

Eco Den

At our ‘Eco Den’, our younger Soneva guests (ages 1 – 5 years old) are invited to play with toys and take part in activities that meet Soneva’s stringent standards of social and environmental responsibility. Koh Rang Snorkelling

A fantastic activity for all who love the sea; snorkelling at the pristine coral reef at Koh Rang Yai National Marine Park. Encounter the rich and abundant marine life as briefed by your personal snorkelling guide. This is an impeccable opportunity to discover the natural beauty of an untouched island.

Sunrise Breakfast Cruise

Rise and shine to a luxurious boat ride around the cove to view the spectacular sunrise from the east of Koh Kood. Indulge in a rustic yet refined fresh breakfast of fresh breads, fruits, meats, cheeses, freshly brewed coffee, a selection of teas and a glass of chilled sparkling wine. Sun Sea Safari

A thrilling speed boat journey delivers you to the stunning Koh Kradad Island, famous for its abundance of wild deer. Spot these beautiful creatures on an island safari adventure, before stopping north of the island for a one-of-a-kind snorkelling experience.

Non-Motorized Water Sports

We offer a range of complimentary non-motorized water sports, including kayaks, paddleboards, and hobie cats. Private tuition is available at an additional charge on an hourly basis.

Sunset Cocktail Cruise

The most romantic way to enjoy the passing of yet another day in paradise. Cruise along the west side of Koh Kood and quietly wander the waters while sipping wine and nibbling on gourmet canapes.

Tailor-made cruises to discover the sights and sounds of Koh Kood island. Avoid the crowds as our Catamaran whisks you away to secluded hideaways and snorkelling sites, the best way to discover the hidden beauties in the Gulf of Siam.

Private Picnic and Snorkeling

Jet over to Koh Rang Marine Park on one of our speed boats to discover the vast variety of tropical fish. Our underwater discover team will then escort you to your very own private beach for a picnic on the white sands.

PADI Diving Courses

Koh Kood Discovery

An authentic discovery of the local way of life. Experience Ao Salad fishing village and lose yourself in the natural beauty of the lush mangrove forest. Complete your journey of discovery at the stunning Klong Chao waterfall and indulge your senses in the cooling freshwater lagoon.

Rainforest Adventure

Start with an 8km drive from Soneva Kiri to Klong Nam Sai for a luscious rainforest trek designed to bring you closer to Koh Kood’s wildlife. Discover a tranquil viewing paradise with an incredible diversity of flora & fauna, visit a local jungle house and organic farm, then slowly move down the ravine to discover Koh Kood’s secret waterfall.

Somchai Rainforest Trek

Discover truly unspoiled Thailand at its finest, with a four-hour trek through the island’s lusciously dense rainforest, guided by our expert Tropical Ecologist. Along the way, cool off in the crystal-clear waterfalls that cascade magically over five different levels. This activity requires a moderate level of fitness as uphill hiking is involved. This experience is exclusively available to guests staying at Soneva Kiri.

Mushroom Cave Lunch

Join us for this very unique private dining experience for a maximum of four guests, which features a menu that has been specially designed around our resort-grown mushrooms. The experience begins with a short trek to a small natural cave, where you are surrounded by lush jungle and the sounds of nature. Take your time and savour a healthy and delicious five-course Thai Vegetarian meal or Western non-vegetarian meal made from more than six different varieties of mushrooms, all of which have been grown in Soneva Kiri’s Mushroom Hut. The main dish will be prepared in front of you by one of our Chefs, who can explain more about the health and wellness benefits of mushrooms. Duration: 02 hours

Mountain Bike Tour

An invigorating adventure of mountain biking around the island of Koh Kood. Cycle along quiet roads in the shade of the rubber trees and coconut groves. Explore the bountiful hills and interact with nature, as you experience the island on two wheels.

Full Day Angkor Wat Experience

Complete one of life’s ‘must do’ experiences with a visit to Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and richly decorated Khmer temple. Catch a speedboat to transfer at Ban Hat Lek, the Cambodian border town, before boarding your very own private helicopter to enjoy breathtaking views as you fly over the Cardamom Mountain Range National Park.
