The Curriculum

• Literacy - variety of story writing units, non-fiction units, poetry and plays. Children will also complete a big write every other week.

• Numeracy - number, shape and space, data handling, using and applying, mental maths and times tables.

• Science - Teeth and Eating

• ICT - electronic communication (email)

• PE - Gymnastics and Invasion Games

• Geography - a locality in the UK (London)

• Art - Painting

• RE - Islam

• Singing with Mrs Farnworth

• Silent reading at least 4 times a week

• Children will be listened to reading by an adult in school each week

• Children are encouraged to read at home as much as possible
