Military Construction Updates

• P-372 Physical Fitness Center: We will cut a ribbon on the new 29,000 square foot facility on June 19. The event will include a health fair, tours of the facility and free classes. The new fitness center replaces the old 21,000 square foot facility built in 1942.

• P-290 Upgrade Cruiser/Destroyer Training Facility: The $12M project at Dahlgren was awarded constructs an additional 27,000 square feet to the existing training facility, which currently is overutilized and does not meet the current demand for training space. Estimated completion date is August 2015.
