WELCOME THE NEW WELCOME BITES!

Hilton Garden Inn’s new Welcome Bites are tiny mouthfuls of pure joy!

These irresistible soft, single-bite oatmeal cookies are rich with

cranberries, apples, and just the right amount of cinnamon and other spices.

They are a perfect way to welcome Guests at the end of their journeys.

Welcome Bites will make their debut at your hotel as current supplies of our

legacy Welcome Bars are fully depleted at local Vistar distribution centers.

The HGI brand anticipates this will occur in late November or mid-December.

When you order, you will not need to do anything differently. Vistar will

automatically ship the correct item. For future ordering, the item number for

Welcome Bites will be XTC00481.

At the time your hotel transitions to Welcome Bites, you will also change

the way you offer the arrival amenity. You will no longer serve them on the

Welcome Table or use the existing displayware. Now, the Welcome Bites will

be displayed on the front desk using modular displayware that you already

have from your breakfast and catering displayware kit. The tong rest shown

is preferred. If you do not have one, another similar rest may be used or

purchase one using the information on the next page.

Use one of the two displays shown depending on your night’s occupancy.

Place the sign either to the left or right of the displayware.

Pay the invoice enclosed in the tongs package within the Welcome Bites Implementation Kit. Look for a brightly-colored label.

Change the presentation of the welcome amenity ONLY when the first case of Welcome Bites is received.

Practice preparing the Welcome Bites according to the HGI recipe card (next page). Share the practice batches with the hotel team so that they can describe the flavor to Guests.

Using the pen enclosed in the Implementation Kit, have the hotel chef sign the new Welcome Bites sign. This gives a personal touch to the offering.

Always use a plastic vessel insert to hold the Welcome Bites inside the large round displayware canisters.

Always use a properly completed clock dot label.

Display cocktail-size napkins in the displayware for Guests to use to help themselves.

Serve the Welcome Bites during peak check-in hours for at least 1½ hours.

Be sure to always have plenty of Welcome Bites in the freezer. Your Guests will be looking for them!Plastic vessel insert filled, clock dot dated, and drop-in ready for displayware.
