The Downtown Development Association, a subcommittee of the Thief River Falls Chamber of Commerceis seeking sponsors for the Thief River Falls Welcome Banners to go on the new light poles. The bannerswill incorporate our new community brand and the tagline "Where Two Rivers Meet. The banners will beplaced on Main Street and 3rd. Since these are our most prominent streets, we designated these areas forthe banners. Overall, our goal this summer is to have 24 poly canvas Welcome Banners place along thelight poles on Main Street and 3rd Street. Any excess funds will be used to fund future banners ideas forthe remaining light poles by incorporating cultural design concepts such as Rosmaling or historical Cityphotos. Our objective with the Welcome Banners is to utilize our community brand/tagline, add color to the centralbusiness district and make it more appealing to visitors and residents. We welcome ANY business,organization, and individual to support this community project. The cost to sponsor a Welcome Banner is $150. The fee will cover the cost of the banner.
