I can’t believe the Summer has come and gone. I am so sad to see all our Kindergarten-
ers leave but am also so happy for them. I would like to welcome all our new families to Play
‘N’ Learn. Here at Play ’N’ Learn we like to keep our parents informed to the best of our abili-
ties. One way of doing this is through our monthly newsletters, which goes out within the first
week of each month. The newsletter will let you know what is planned for the upcoming
month. Our hope is that this will keep you informed, give you plenty of time to prepare your
child for upcoming events, allow you to request time off to join some of our special perfor-
mances/parties or just keep you updated. The newsletter will be emailed out to you, posted in
the school for viewing and a copy we will be available for you to pick-up at the school. Please
keep an eye out for these.

Getting to Know You
During the month of August and September our focus will be to help the chil-
dren become comfortable in their classes and ready to kick off a new year of learn-
ing. Play ‘N’ Learn always starts off our school year with themes that directly relate
to the children. We will be spending time getting to know each other and teaching
the children why each of them are so special, then we will take time to learn about
each of our class names. This will help the children identify with and be proud of
their individual class. This translates into excitement about our upcoming school
year. Sept 23 - 27 is National Keep Kids Creative Week. This is why we end the
month with this theme. This week’s theme is all about thinking outside the box and
allowing the kids to be kids.

tion fee of $100 per

Emergency Information
We have emailed a copy of
your family information sheet.
Please review the form, make
any necessary corrections, sign
and return it to Ms. Deepthi.
Blankets for Nap Time
Each child needs 2 small nap
blankets labeled with your child’s
name (no sleeping bags or pil-
lows). Drop them off each Mon-
day and take them home for
washing every Friday.
Please Arrive on Time
We would like to ask that ALL
students arrive to school by 9:00
a.m. If your child is going to be
late, please call and let the
school know. This prevents the
children from missing important
class lessons and prevents the
classroom distractions that late
arrivals can cause.
Snacks
Play ‘N’ Learn provides
Breakfast snack and Afternoon
Snack. Breakfast snack will be
served from 7:00 to 8:30 am. in
Building 1. Please bring your child
a nut-free lunch. Children will eat
lunch at 11:30 am and then be
provided an afternoon snack at
3:00 pm. Please be sure we have a
list of ANY/ALL allergies affect-
ing your child.
