On the back of your paper from yesterday, write your answers to the following.

Please leave laptops closed until instructed otherwise.

1. She wants to search for ways to reward her students; however, she doesn’t want to use food as a reward.

Mrs. Yarbar is having a “blonde” moment (not a senior moment). Help her determine the best way to

narrow her searches for the following topics.

2. She specifically wants to search for a song that mentions motivation in the lyrics.

3. She wants to search for colors that promote learning as well as music that promotes learning.

Today, you need a pen or pencil, one sheet of notebook paper, a laptop, and your Website Evaluation handout.

You will need your laptop EVERY DAY for the next several weeks!

3/24

Turn in your completed Research Strategies handout if you have not already done so.

In the remaining time allowed, list as many countries, writers, professions, and/or colleges that you might be interested in researching.

On a sheet of notebook paper, list three different ways she could limit her search for the desired information. Use your Boolean Logic.

Your title is “Boolean Operators.”

Yet again, Mrs. Yarbar is overcome by a “blonde” moment. She has an upcoming trip to Louisville, Kentucky and needs help determining the best way to search for tourist attractions or special events in the area

during her visit. She is interested in educational or musical attractions; however, she is not interested in events involving anything to do with

nature.

Below that, make a chart with the following headings:

Countries (M-Z) Writers (M-Z) Professions Colleges
