MAJOR STRATEGIES

A)Micro nutrients:

Massive Soil Health Campaign – Collected 630 soil samples

during 2015-16 through GPS.

Planning for distribution of Micronutrients to 1500 ha.

Already distributed 10 MTs of Zinc Sulphate.

B) Village level Action Plan has been prepared for 14

revenue villages to address the gaps in productivity.

Major Strategies for achieving double digit growth

C) Crop wise strategies for increasing productivity in each crop by

adopting good agricultural practiceslike IPM, INM and organic

farming with emphasis on reducing cost of cultivation.

Focus on reducing cost of cultivation by adopting methods like:

direct seeding in paddy (4000 ha), zero tillage in maize (750

ha.), Zero tillage in jowar (1000 ha.), pulses in rice fallows

(500ha), etc.

1. Popularizing use of different organic manures like vermi

compost, bio fungicides & bio pesticides like trichoderma

viridi, pseudomonas, neem oil.

2. Integration of NPM for quality produce in different crops
