Welcome to Worship

January 5, 2020 - 10:00am

Welcome to our services today. We invite you to join

TUESDAY MORNING WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY: Ladies, we invite you to join us

for the study of TITUS and PHILEMON, where Paul writes letters to these two

close friends as well as to the groups of believers who worshiped with them.

In Titus we will discover important Christian principles and in Philemon we

will see how we can put those into practice. The study guides will be

available today after the morning service from Phyllis DeJong. Please do

Lesson 1 in preparation for our first meeting on Tuesday morning, January 7,

9:30 - 11:00.

BAPTISM: Today, Nelle Eden Hogue, daughter of Vince and Brenna, will

receive the sacrament of baptism.

CONGRATULATIONS: BCRC Council is to happy to announce that Steve Strite

has accepted the position of Music Director. More details will follow.

Next Week is Communion Sunday: January 12, 2020

Anticipate: next week’s gathering. Look forward in

expectation to the sharing that will take place. Live this

week in a way that heightens your awareness of your

need for Christ and your hope in His grace.

Participate: in the gathering. Remember that “being

together” is an expression of being the Body of Christ for

the world. In a time of isolation and aloneness, a

community gathers to share this event together.

Celebrate: our Lord’s victory over sin and death.

Christ has come to make all things new. Share the meal

that reminds us that Christ’s Kingdom has come-and is

still to come.

“All covenant children are invited to participate in communion at the discretion of their parents. Parents

are strongly encouraged to talk to their children about the meaning of communion in an age-

appropriate manner.”
