In the 1980s, Pat and her daughter moved to Florida for better job opportunities. She
worked in Ocala, FL – 90 miles north of Orlando- in a Disney store as a clerk and taking online
reservations. She then transferred to Walt Disney World. There was one opening at Disney Studios
and Pat was chosen from dozens of applicants as a tour Operator for Animation Studios. She
worked for Disney for 17 years.
After Disney, Pat was hired at US Airways as a Sales Rep in Orlando and then transferred
to Pittsburgh International Airport. When Pat moved back north, she resided in Ambridge, PA.
Pat's hobbies include reading and gardening. She took great pride in her flower gardens!
Pat says the best thing about living here is “I don't have to worry about a thing and the staff is like
family to me.
Congratulations, Pat!!! WE LOVE YOU!

On October 29, 2016, many ghosts, goblins, princesses and superheroes gathered
together for WGC’s annual Boo Bash! As they traveled throughout the building
gathering candy and potato chips, there were many other exciting things to do from
decorating their very own Halloween sugar cookie to playing games for prizes.
Everyone even had the opportunity to get their picture taken with our very own
“Wicked Witch.” The residents enjoyed helping with all of the fun activities and
seeing all of the children dressed up in their scary, funny and cute costumes. A
huge thank you goes out to everyone who made this night such an exciting, fun
time.
Dance Enterprises, Inc. performed for the residents on Saturday, October
19th. They performed dances to Christmas music and the residents were
thrilled with their performance.
Dance Enterprise is a non-profit organization on Pennsylvania
Avenue where "no child is turned away" for those children who would not
otherwise be able to go to dance school. Owner and Manager is Anna
Bartley. Thank you girls and hope to see you all next year!!
"GERI CAMP" ~
Peterson Rehabilitation Center in Wheeling invited us to their Geri
Activity Camp held at Oglebay Camp Russell. So we loaded up
some residents and made the journey.
Crafts and food were on the agenda for the day. The residents had to
"Bling-A-Pumpkin" and we won 2nd place and got a pumpkin pie!
Lunch was bean soup, made entirely in a big, old, cast iron pot over a campfire. We also had
sloppy joe's. The residents loved it and I am sure there will be another trip in the future.
Special thanks to Peterson Rehab and staff for such a wonderful community service.
