STARTING THE SQUAT
• FEET SHOULDER WIDTH APART
• TIGHTEN CORE MUSCLES• HOLD THE BAR WITH HANDS
AND BACK• CHIN UP • EYES LOOK STRAIGHT AHEAD
THE DESCENT
• DESCEND SLOWLY• SQUEEZE CORE AND GLUTS• PUSH CHEST OUT• BUTTOCKS SHOULD BE
LEVEL WITH KNEES
THE ASCENT
• Keep looking forward• Maintain a tight core• Push up with heels• Do not lean forward
