SUPERHERO
1.1 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to pronounce words and speak confidently with the correct stress, rhythm and intonation.
1.2 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to listen and respond appropriately in formal and informal situations for a variety of purposes.
1.1.2 Able to listen to and respond to a given stimulus by using appropriate words, phrases and expressions with the correct stress, rhythm and intonation.
1.2.5 Able to talk on topics of interest in formal situations with guidance.
1) Teacher plays the song "Hall of Fame"
2) Teacher list down all the common nouns in the song and explain on how to use common nouns
3)Pupils fill in the blanks of incomplete lyrics of the song
4) In groups, pupils talk about their future superheroes by using suitable common nouns.
5) Other pupils have to list down the common nouns mentioned as many as possible

2.2 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to demonstrate understanding of a variety of linear and non-linear texts in the form of print and non-print materials using a range of strategies to construct meaning.

3.1.1 Able to write in neat legible print with correct spelling:

7) Pupils are required to partner with a friend to write the comparison and similarities of their own superhero’s characteristic in an A4 paper.
8) In group of 4, pupils are required to produce their own superhero with their own characteristic on the poster paper.
9) Teacher will conduct a gallery walk in the class in order for the pupils to write on the important characteristic of the other group’s superhero.
10) Pupils are required to write a story based on the important characteristic of the superhero as a homework.

4.3 By the end of the primary 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to plan, organise and produce creative works for enjoyment.

4) In groups, pupils create a poster to promote their favourite superheroes. They have to give reasons by using adjectives.
