The retailer is discounting clothing for boys and girls by brands such as Nike, Levis, Adidas and more. Other offers include 30% off sleepwear, 25% off Kipling backpacks and an extra 20% off select items with a Macy’s WOW! Pass.

This week, Kmart is covering everything families need for back-to-school season. In the apparel section, the retailer is offering discounts on graphic tops, boys’ polo shirts, activewear and jeans. Tesco’s promotion that runs for over two weeks in August offers “everything you need at the price you’ll love” for babies and toddlers. Customers can save over 25% on the retailer’s private label nappies in a multi-buy offer. Heinz fruit pouch strawberry and banana puree, normally priced at one for £0.90 (US$1.40) is now offered at two for £1 (US$1.60). The event also promotes the Tesco Baby Club loyalty program.
BABY AND TODDLER EVENT
Marks & Spencer is running an extended sale on a variety of product ranges, including summer wear and outdoor furniture. Top clothing and beauty offers include a women’s asymmetric-seam skater dress at 50% off and balancing day care cream at more than 40% off. End-of-summer discounts on garden furniture go as high as 60% off. M&S is discounting some indoor furniture, too, including armchairs, which are selling for 60% off (£59.60; US$92.40).

House of Fraser is offering back-to-school promotions with popular cartoon-themed school accessories as well as designer school wear. Disney Cars backpacks and Minnie Mouse lunch bags are 50% off. Polarn O. Pyret kids’ waterproof rain trousers are 20% off, at £17.60 (US$27.30), and Barbour girls’ jackets are 50%, off at £29.97 (US$46.50). Stationery, such as Hamleys colored pencils and Crayola Crayons, is priced normally.

John Lewis started its womenswear summer markdowns with reductions of up to 70%. The promotion dropped some already discounted prices even lower: ivory silk skirts that were originally 50% off are now 70% off. Similar discounts were seen on Ralph Lauren long-sleeve shirts, which are now £48 (US$74.50), marked down from £160 (US$248.20) originally.
