Join us in our efforts to raise awareness about the Tripler Fisher House and how we can assist our Military Families during a medical crisis orloss. We are partnering with each Military Branch, community partners and other non-profit organizations to bring this event to you. Thisevent is open to both military and civilians in the community.

Visitors are invited to attend, free, Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor's 5th
"Biggest Little Airshow" on Saturday and Sunday, August 18 and 19, 10am to
4pm. This year, the Airshow celebrates the Centennial of Marine Aviation and
the Centennial of Women in Aviation.
Guests will be greeted by 100 aircraft on the tarmac—both real and remote
control models—"candy bombings" over Luke Field for the keiki, Hangar 79
Tours to see the new MiG Alley Korean War Exhibit, the Restoration Shop, the
P-40 Kittyhawk and Flying Tigers Exhibit, helicopters, jets and aircraft displays
in the 85,000 sq. ft. battle scarred hangar.
Free entertainment includes: concerts each day at 1:00pm with popular band
Loaded Dice; Candy bombings for the keiki each day at 12:30 and 3:30pm;
Hawaiian Airlines’ Bellanca and Pacific Warbirds’ T-6 and Luscomb 8-E
Flyovers of antique aircraft, at 12:00 noon. .
For two days, the presenting local RC organization the Birds of Paradise and
Mainland pilots from the Academy of Model Aeronautics will pilot their massive
remote controlled 1 to 5 scale planes in the skies above the Museum. Specialty
acts to be performed by the Birds of Paradise include: Pattern, 3-D fixed wing
and helicopter aerobatic flights, South Pacific battles, "Candy Bomber" drops,
and a Skycam helicopter. There'll be remote control aircraft in the air and on
static display, including, jets, helicopters, F-22s, warbirds, B-17s, P-38s,
Corsairs, OV-10s and more.

Dress to impress to celebrate another month of deployment complete by investigating a murder! Join your Blue Star Card friends on Thursday, August 30, from 6:30 – 8:30 pm, in the ACS training center, Schofield Barracks (next to SGT Smith Theatre) for a fun evening playing “Killing for the Crown” and interactive murder mystery game centered around a murder at the Miss America pre-pageant party. Escape Plann a fire or other emergency, youmay need to evacuate your house,apartment or mobile home on amoment’s notice. You should beready to get out fast.
Develop an escape plan by drawing a floorplan of your residence. Using a black or bluepen, show the location of doors, windows,stairways, and large furniture. Indicate thelocation of emergency supplies (DisasterSupplies Kit), fire extinguishers, smokedetectors, collapsible ladders, first aid kitsand utility shut off points. Next, use acolored pen to draw a broken line chartingat least two escape routes from each room.Finally, mark a place outside of the homewhere household members should meet incase of fire.
Be sure to include important points outsidesuch as garages, patios, stairways,elevators, driveways and porches. If yourhome has more than two floors, use anadditional sheet of paper. Practiceemergency evacuation drills with allhousehold members at least two timeseach year.
