In the beginning , when we got the idea of the project for our PBL , we started searching about some unique idea about a website which has not only helpful for our web languages understanding but also have some future scope. So we have decided to work on Ecommerce. In the first week, we didn't know anything about web styling, or how web sites actually works. The only thing we knew till that time was HTML, CSS which we studied in our last semester. Extending html css to another level that is, a working web site was a challenging task. We started learning about its basics, as what are the basic requirements that we need to make a web site.

In projects first few days, it caused controversy for its name, Many names suggested like “Sabzi Mandi.com”, “aaloo-pyaaz.com”, ”big-bazar.com”. But this will be our project and obviously last decision will be from our side, so we present “MomMade Kitchen”.

We have made MomMade Kitchen, The Online Food, Grocery and Recipes Shop. The toughest part was initially to decide the features of MMK, i.e. What MMK will do.so we have decided to make it 3 in 1 website. Which means, One can order directly the food, or the ingredients or only see the recipes. The Main homepage will contain tabs like Home, About Us, Online Shopping (Directly Food or Simply Ingredients), Recipes, Contact Us.

We faced many problems like designing logo images, images formats, creating divisions, utilizing the page screen. Any new modification sometimes lead to whole page error that hindered the flow of making project.

Further extension in the project was made by Recipes tab, which leads to another website, anther Tabs, (Home, About Us, Courses, New recipes, Contact Us). Same Problems are waiting for us here as well, but it’s easy to continue here, because the problems are quite same as above.

The most of the work we have done with this site is on its BEAUTIFICATION to make it more interactive. Coin Slider, Interactive Colors, Best Aligning in Headers & Footers, Favicons on each webpage, and playing Bollywood Songs along site. Websites without interaction is useless. So, it took too much time to understand and implement different types of interactions in the project. 

Because in this time (year of 2K’s),The 21st century women are well known about how to drive a car but they rarely know how to make different variety of foods, MMK provides a number of recipes to help them. Now a days we search everything online, so as recipes of food. Online recipes is the cheapest n most convenient way to find recipes. A recipe book can’t be updated again n again but online recipes are always up to date. In this fast world we want everything to be superfast so as the cooking, MMK has some quick recipes which takes very small time to get cooked.

Another level of extension is the Recipe Quizzes, it’s an idea that changes our project. Extremely powerful in terms of interaction and learning. No need to say anything further about it, Just Play & Enjoy.

To finalize the project, we have added some formatted texts and some animated effects. Below are the screenshots taken at various instances during working on project
