2019 ALZ Walk Update

Today you can walk along the church breezeway and see the start of our Alzheimer's Honor Display. You will see photographs of loved ones who suffered and died of dementia. There are also photographs of people suffering now who need our prayers and support. What you don't see are the faces who will suffer in the future from Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. We live in HOPE that as we do our part through education and financial support for brain research, we know God is blessing our efforts. Please visit our display this morning. I am adding more pictures and I invite you to include your loved ones. Consider signing up for the ALZ Walk on November 9. Give! There is a jar for donations. Our goal is $5,000. We have collected $2780 so far. The Alzheimer's Walk is November 9 walk at NSU. Sign up to join Team Never Give Up Nicklas and make a donation at: act.alz.org/goto/Jackaroo In memory of my husband Ed, Jane Nicklas

OUR FRIENDS AT LIFENET4FAMILES NEED OUR HELP!

Each month on the second Sunday of the month our congregation is gracious and giving to our hungry friends at LifeNet4Families. We gather both food items and also monetary donations for this cause. Recently we learned that every $1 we give, they are able to buy $5 worth of food! In other words, monetary donations are worth more than our food donations. Please consider giving cash or check to LifeNet. The basket is located in the front entrance of the church.
