Dear Parents:Hope you enjoyed your weekend. This week we have a busy week coming! With it being our last week for our unit and with the daily rehearsals for our long awaited spring show, Wow! what a great week! Let’s have fun learning!

Literacy Inquiry:We are going to be practicing with the formation of letter “N”. We will be doing a “night” craft and creating a “necklace” with “noodles”. Our new sight word is “my”.

Unit of Inquiry:Central idea: Exploring leads to discovery.In this unit we will be discussing that exploring with our 5 senses leads to discovering the world around us.Being the final week for this unit, we will be reviewing all unit and doing a culminating activity of exploring our school and reflecting on it.

Home Connection:You can continue working on writing numbers and you can start giving the kids small fun addition problems like “If you have 2 pieces of candy and I gave you 2 more, how many pieces of candy will you have?!You can let them use their fingers for counting or any manipulatives you have at home like legos,cubes,etc...

Library day:Thursday, April 23rd

Math Inquiry:This week we will be focusing on introducing addition to the kids. Adding numbers from 1-5 with a maximum total of 10.
