Our meeting this week:We had our installation of officers, honored President Christine Chale as our Rotarian of the Year, and heard from out recently-returned outbound YEX student Abby Romm about her year in Italy. Save the Dates! The Highland Rotary Club is sponsoring the 11th Annual Hudson Valley Ribfest on August 14-16, 2015 at the Ulster County Fairgrounds, New Paltz, NY. They are in need of volunteers to help us in the following areas: entrance fee collections,beer sales, soda & water sales, raffle sales, table clean up, and set up and break down of the grounds.
To compensate our volunteers, Highland Rotary will share a portion of their proceeds with us. To volunteer, please see Jonah Triebwasser.
District Governor Nick Constantino will make his official visit to us on Tuesday, August 4th. 100% attendance would be appreciated!
Our annual Baxter's Bash picnic will be at the Red Hook Rec Park on Tuesday, August 21st with a rain date of Tuesday, September 1st. Details to follow!
� Books and magazines needed for the hospital. Rev. Fred Cartier is collecting books and magazines for Northern Dutchess Hospital's reading cart. Please bring your magazines and books to Fred at any breakfast meeting. Labels have been made to affix to the magazines indicating they have been donated by the Red Hook Rotary Club.
! Your change can make a change! - Bring your filled Rotary coin boxes to any meeting and donate to Rotary International Foundation's Polio Plus campaign. If you need a coin box, please see Bud Weaver.
