AIMTo cover the furthest distance, during challenge hours, over the event weekend. Only completed triathlons will count - distance will be measured by taking the official course length (per challenge distance) multiplied by the amount of laps achieved.

RESULTSThe Official Weekend Warrior results will be published on the website once they have been verified. Weekend Warriors will also be able to view their split time for each triathlon completed.

THE WEEKEND WARRIOR EVENT PROCEDURE1. All WW will receive their event packs in the post

in time for the event.2. This year all WW will receive two timing chips in

their pack, one should be used for each day and disposed of responsibly after the event.

3. WW will receive their initial briefing and introductions in transition at 07:30 on Saturday 12th September. Please do not be late for this as it may result in you missing the start.

An additional safety briefing will take place at the swim start area.

4. Once WW have finished a triathlon, they can take any official route back to the start. Please be considerate to the public.

5. WW do not need to return to transition after each triathlon, however they need to co-ordinate getting their wetsuits back to swim start and their shoes back to transition.

6. Before starting their next triathlon, WW must make themselves known to the swim timing official (this person will be pointed out to you in your safety briefing). WW will join the back of the 12 person queue to enter the water in a new time trial format. Waiting time is expected to be under 1 minute.

7. WW must be granted permission by the swim safety team to walk onto the pontoon before entering the water; do not run on the pontoon.

8. After the first triathlon of the day, WW can start each new triathlon whenever they want. Except:

• If a group of 12 participants are lined up in the start pen and have already started loading into the water. In such circumstances, WW must wait and join the back of the next group of 12.

• The last opportunity to do a Sprint distance wave will be 16:00 on the Saturday and 14:10 on the Sunday. After this time you will need to join one of the final Super Sprint waves of the day. The final wave of the day will be 16:50 on Saturday and 15:10 on Sunday.

• Male WW will be set off 2 mins before any female only waves.

9. WW MUST OBEY MARSHALLS AT ALL TIMES OR THEY WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
