The Beginning of It All....

• What’s the purpose of Week One?!– It’s time to get to grips with the coursework process!– Research past pieces of coursework and analyse/discuss them...

– Ensure you truly understand the brief!– Plan, plan, plaaaaaaaan...

There is a lot of work that needs to be put into your coursework and here is where it starts....

• Do you know what you’re doing?– I will research the brief given to me, and analyse it thoroughly

to see which direction I can take my film in.– I will discuss my ideas with experts (my teacher (Mr Mayers),

my past teacher (Miss Palmquist) and my friends in the year above me who also take Media. This will be to gain a wider knowledge of what has already “been done”, therefore meaning I will have a better shot at making something original that has “never been seen before” (or is rarely seen, at least!)

– I will create a plan filled with my initial ideas, film-wise. I can then adapt it to any new changes as I continue through the course...

Learn the Do’s and Don’t’s...

• What’s acceptable?– Can I use copyrighted music, or must it be

original?– Must all of my images be exactly that? My

images?– Can I present my research in any way I like? Or

must it be created on Microsoft Office programs?
