Personal Reflection Exercises...I am relinquishing control over the uncontrollable.

I am relinquishing control over theuncontrollable.

When I am in one of life's low valleys, Iam comforted by positive thoughts. I amhuman and I am not expected tohave all the answers. That loving pieceof reality brings me such comfort that I cansmile in the midst of shadows.

I am not in control of everything becausethere are things beyond my control. Andthat's okay. I am responsible for thosethings that I can manage, but I amquick to let go of the things that Icannot influence. In order to savemyself from anxiety, I do not hold on tothings that I cannot control.

I try my hardest with what I can control. Iset fair expectations for myself. I amdiligent. I am hardworking, yet I canadmit my limitations.

When I identify things in my life that areuncontrollable, I let go of them quickly. Ido not waste time trying to handle thingsthat are impossibly out of my reach. I amhappy to relinquish control because myego and pride are in check.

When I have to acknowledge my lack ofcontrol, I do not feel guilt. By letting goof control, I make room for miracles.

In situations where I am unsure of what todo, I seek help. If I see that there isnothing else I can do, I pray, then I simplylet go.

I relinquish control of all situations to aHigher Power. Where my strength ends, there is a greater strength that carries meforward. When my abilities run thin, thereis the power of miracles.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. What are some things that I need togive up?

2. How can I free myself from unduepressures?

3. Why should I burden myself withthings that I cannot control?
