• How much does this cost? and How much is this?, are used to ask about fares.

Adjectives for prices: expensive, cheap.Expressions: that’s too much, that’s a lot. It’s (really / kind of) expensive. It’s (really / kind of) cheap. That’s too much. Is there a discount?, to ask for a price reduction.

Conversation strategies.

In conversation…Expressions like: Yeah, uh-huh, Ok, all right, sure, fine, etc.,

are used to express agreement and say yes.

Expressions like: huh, oh, wow, really?, are you serious?, for real?, oh my gosh, Oh my God, my lord, oh my lord, seriously?, are used to express that you are surprised, shocked, happy, mad or

angry.

Expressions like: Well, let’s check, let me think, let’s see, um, I guess, etc., are used to express doubt, to express that you will check something, analyse the situation, and study it., they are also used to

express that you are not sure.

march 12nd. • Let’s : it is used to invite people to do something.• Would you like to…? Do you want to…?: are used to invite

people, in a formal way.
